Why Am I Blogging about the Library?
About a two years ago, I experienced what I have coined a “kid-life” crisis, catalyzed by the birth of my twins- making me the mom of 3 children ages 2 and under. During my maternity leave, I underwent a re-evaluation of what I wanted professionally for the next 20 years and came back to the passions I pursued during my undergraduate years: art and literature. For the last two years I worked as a part-time Art Specialist and also began coursework towards attaining my Teacher Librarian Diploma. Recently, I accepted a position as a secondary TL and am excited about beginning this new phase of my career. This blog is meant to document my professional learning on this journey.
